Chicken Tortilla Casserole

2 12.5 oz. cans chicken, minced
1 small bottle pimentos
1 small can cream of chicken soup
1 small can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can green chilies
2-3 chopped green onions
8 oz. sour cream
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
Tortilla chips

Reserve 1/4 cup chopped green onions and 1 ½ cup grated cheese.  Mix together the chicken, pimentos, soups, green chilies, green onions, sour cream and ½ cup grated cheese.  Prepare a baking pan.  Line the bottom with 2 layers of tortilla chips.  Spoon the mixed ingredients over the tortillas.  Top with crushed tortilla chips, the reserve cheese and onions.  Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.  Allow to set at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving.
