Dentsply Implants recently co-sponsored a continuing education workshop with White & Blansett Periodontics, Northwest Arkansas Endodontic Specialists, and Dorsey Dental Lab. The program, Predictable Outcomes in Implant Therapy Based on Biologic Principles, drew a crowd of over 90 participants from area dental offices.
The program focused on the implant-prosthesis-tissue interface, the influence of implant design on the stability of bone and soft tissues around implants, and treatment planning considerations for sites with compromised bone.
The featured speaker for the conference was Dr. Homa Zadeh, DDS, PhD, a tenured Associate Professor and the interim director of the post-doctoral periodontology program at the University of Southern California (USC), Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, and a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Participants in the all day conference, held on July 24th at the Embassy Suites in Rogers, received 6 hours of CE credit.
