DR. CHARLES A. WHITE

Dr. White has an extensive educational background, including a BA in Zoology and an MS in Natural Sciences from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He received his dental degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and a specialty certificate and MS in Periodontics from Baylor University in Dallas. Dr. White regularly attends continuing education programs and stays current on the latest advances in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. White has practiced Periodontics in Northwest Arkansas since 1985. He is known for his conservative philosophy regarding the need for surgery. Our Periodontal patients undergo non-surgical therapy and are carefully reevaluated before surgical therapy is recommended.

Dr. White has years of experience in cosmetic surgical therapy, including root coverage grafting and cosmetic lengthening of teeth. In 2003, he became the first Periodontist in the state of Arkansas to be accredited in the surgery for Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics™ (PAOO™). Dr. White performs a wide range of procedures that assist patients of all ages in Orthodontic care.

In 2005, Dr. White graduated from the Misch International Implant Institute and became a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He works closely with area Dentists to place dental implants that meet each patient's restortative needs. CT Scans and state of the art Simplant computer software are often utilized to gain accurrate assessment of available bone in implant sites. Using the CT software, guides can be utilized that allow safe and precise implant placement.

In 2006, Dr. White incorporated the use of Harvest Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) into his practice. The use of PRP greatly promotes healing and is of tremendous benefit to his surgery patients.
