On November 11th our office hosted an educational Fall Symposium at the Doubletree Hotel in Bentonville. A packed house of dental professionals from area dental offices attended the event, each receiving continuing education credits for their participation.
Kevin Thomas, White and Blansett Nobel Biocare Sales Representative opened the symposium with discussion on “New Trends in Implant Dentistry”. Dr. Jonathan Blansett, partner with White and Blansett, followed with a presentation on “Osseodensification: A Paradigm Shift in Implant Osteotomy Preparation?”.
Dr. Steve Harrel, periodontist and originator of Videoscope-Assisted Minimally Invasive Surgery (V-MIS), then discussed the results and patient comfort in his presentation of “Minimally Invasive Surgery- Predictable Results, Comfortable Patients”. White and Blansett are utilizing V-MIS technology in their practice with outstanding results.
Stacey Ashworth, a representative for Crest, was there with a table of Crest/Oral B products. In addition, there were some great prize drawings for participants.
