Surgery for PAOO
White and Blansett Periodontics and Dental Implants has been performing a procedure since 2003 that allows orthodontics to be completed in 3-8 months. This surgical procedure and the rapid tooth movement that follows is called Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics™ (PAOO™).
PAOO is performed at the request of Orthodontists for a number of reasons. PAOO improves the thickness of bone around teeth, reducing the risks of gum recession. The additional bone thickness makes it possible in some cases for more ideal orthodontic results. PAOO also reduces the risk of root resorption that can shorten the root lengths of teeth during orthodontics. The PAOO procedure has many years of clinical results and research to document it’s safety and benefits. It is the only accelerated orthodontic procedure that can make that claim.
Below are before and after images of cases treated by White and Blansett Periodontics with Surgery for Accelerated Orthodontics. After the surgery, orthodontics was completed in just a few months!
