We are pleased to announce that we now offer moderate IV conscious sedation! We have equipped our operatories with the latest equipment that monitors not only vital signs but also exhaled carbon dioxide. This allows the sedated patient to be monitored breath by breath and increases the envelope of safety dramatically compared to other monitoring systems. The patient may fall asleep, but maintains the ability to respond to verbal direction. After conscious sedation, the patient may feel drowsy and will not remember much about their procedure. Conscious sedation lets the patient recover quickly and return to everyday activities soon after their procedure.
Now, patients that have anxiety about receiving periodontal and implant-related therapy can have procedures performed comfortably, safely, and often in one visit. We look forward to working with patients as we continually strive to provide state of the art, minimally invasive, predictable, and safe treatment for our patients.
Please contact our office if you have any questions. We will be glad to assist in any way possible.
